Panopta offers immediate and accurate notification of outages. Whether you're working solo or have a team of dozens supporting your online infrastructure, we make it easy to ensure that the right people are notified at the right time.

Escalation Plans

Once an outage is detected, our notification system takes control to notify your team members that action is needed. Unlike some systems where you simply provide an email address that is contacted once the outage is detected, our system allows for very complex alert sequences to be performed, escalating the outage to a wider audience the longer it persists.

Through the Control Panel, you can create custom notification timelines to control outage notification based on your team's needs. Each timeline contains a series of actions that are performed at given times. The timeline interface allows you to see exactly what your schedule looks like and make necessary changes easily.

Outage Notices

We support multiple communication mechanisms through which your team can be notified:

• Email: plain text and rich HTML for reading on desktop/laptop computers
• Short-text email: abbreviated messages for reading on Blackberry™, Treo™ and other smart mobile devices
• SMS: delivered to mobile devices on more than 500 networks in 166 countries around the world

All Panopta packages come with unlimited notices, including unlimited SMS messages, so you will never miss notification of an outage.

Panopta gives you all the information you need to begin effectively addressing an outage and sends an all-clear notice with links to a complete outage history on our control panel when the outage resolution is confirmed. All notices are tied into our intelligent mailing lists so you can easily communicate with everyone involved in the outage simply by hitting "Reply" in your email client.
